Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart are not back together, as previously thought. In fact, the singer announced in a new interview that she isn’t dating anyone and is completely single.
Ever since Lopez called time on her marriage to Marc Anthony, she has been linked to her backup dancer turned boyfriend Casper Smart.
Lopez and Smart broke things off after two years of their relationship, following rumors that he was cheating on her and using social media in order to pick up other women. Since, they have remained on friendly terms, but new rumors have popped up suggesting that they have reignited their romance.
Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart were said to have rung in the New Year together during her gig in Las Vegas. The rumors began circling the internet after the former duo were said to be cozying up together in Caesars Palace where Lopez performed her ‘The Best Is Yet To Come’ New Year’s Eve show.
In a new interview, the singer revealed that she and Smart were not actually together at all. In fact, she claims that she is single. She said, “I’m single right now. I think being on my own has been really great for me. There was a time where I was just like ‘Ehhh, I’m just not going to deal with anybody, I just want to be on my own.’ Now I’m getting back into the mix. For right now, I just have no announcements to make.”
