Lindsay Lohan’s Community Service Hours Under Investigation

Lindsay Lohan’s community service hours were complete just in the nick of time on Wednesday before her scheduled court appearance. She completed her total of thirty days as the Community Service Volunteers place in London faxed over a copy of the required hours that had been completed by the troubled actress.

It all came down to the wire for Lohan, who was said to be partying in Paris ahead of her court date. Was she celebrating the completion of her necessary community service? Unfortunately for the actress, her celebration may be short-lived, as the prosecutor in her case is calling for an investigation into her hours of service.

Lohan’s community service is being investigated as it has been revealed that she used time spent doing meet and greets with fans as part of her required service. Lohan was busted for reckless driving in 2012 and was given thirty days of community service to complete before last November. At that time, she proved that she was only half done with her required hours and needed more time. The judge granted her until Wednesday, January 28th to fulfill the requirements.

Chief Deputy City Attorney Terry White isn’t yet convinced that Lohan’s community service hours are completely legitimate and is demanding an investigation into the matter. He claimed to find it suspect that the actress was able to complete eighty hours of community service in the span of nine days. He said, “If this was Lindsey Smith, nobody would allow this.”

He revealed, “She got to shake hands with people, and that’s community service. I’d love to hang out with a celebrity all day and see their life, but that’s not community service.”

Lohan’s attorney Mark Heller said that “there’s always a lot of drama surrounding” his client. He added, “She’s had a very successful and acclaimed run in a London play. She’s doing very well and completed her community service to the best of my knowledge while she was abroad.”

Lindsay Lohan’s community service is being investigated and the City Attorney’s office has been given two weeks to verify that her service hours were legitimate.
