Watch Martin Scorsese’s Commercials Starring Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, And Brad Pitt

Martin Scorsese has teamed up with Robert De Niro, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Brad Pitt to film two commercials for two casinos in Manilla, Philippines.

The commercials are meta-comedies of sorts, poking fun at the fact that Scorsese is working once again with De Niro and DiCaprio, who have starred in a number of the legendary directors’ films (albeit never together in the same one). In this first trailer, featuring Scorsese with his two muses, the two actors appear to be competing for the same part. Here is the commercial:

This second commercial plays more like a movie trailer, with a different version of the same setup in the first one. At the end of this one, you catch a glimpse of Brad Pitt on a marquee. Here is the second trailer:

While Pitt doesn’t appear in these first two Martin Scorsese commercials alongside De Niro and DiCaprio, a press release regarding this project confirms he will appear in the third commercial, coming out later this year:

“Our hope is that the trailer for “The Audition” gives audiences an early look into what will surely be an important cinematic experience directed by one of the most culturally influential directors in the history of Hollywood films. I look forward to the Global Premiere of the film at the launch of Studio City in mid-2015.”

Brad Pitt has never appeared in a Martin Scorsese film, but De Niro and DiCaprio have appeared in 13 of the directors movies over the years. Robert De Niro appeared in eight films, including classics like Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, Raging Bull, and Goodfellas. DiCaprio has worked with Scorsese more recently, appearing in his last film The Wolf of Wall St., as well as The Aviator, Gangs of New York, and Scorsese’s first Best Picture winner, The Departed, in 2006.
