Doctor Who Called Upon By High Priestess Of Sisterhood Of Karn In Prologue Clip

Rejoice fans of the good doctor! Officially, BBC One has released a near two-minute long prologue for the upcoming ninth season of its long-running sci-fi series “Doctor Who.”

This clip returns to that planet and Clare Higgins reprises her role of Ohila, the High Priestess of the Sisterhood of Karn. In the clip, she consults with Peter Capaldi’s The Doctor about an enemy of his that has called upon him, most likely The Master (Michelle Gomez) but it is not said aloud. We also see The Doctor give her his Last Will and Testament.

The first two episodes of the new series are titled “The Magician’s Apprentice” and “The Witch’s Familiar.” Both are written by Steven Moffat and directed by Hettie Macdonald and will see the return of Michelle Gomez as Missy. Episodes three and four, whose titles will be revealed later, are both written by Toby Whithouse and directed by Daniel O’Hara. Steven Moffat calls them ‘brilliantly creepy… one of our scariest adventures yet!’
