Michael Lohan: Wife Kate Major Gives Birth To Second Child

Michael Lohan’s wife Kate Major gave birth to a baby boy on New Year’s Eve.

US Weekly reports the baby arrived at 11:16 a.m. and weighed in at 6 lbs. The couple have named the baby Logan Michael Lohan.

Michael Lohan quickly made an announcement.

“Kate and I are ecstatic. A bit late for Christmas but the best gift imaginable. What a way to bring in the new year! God has blessed me with the best children a father could ever ask for — but I’m done!”

Logan joins big brother Landon, born in January 2013.

Kate tweeted the happy news to followers writing: “The best New Year’s Gift I could’ve ever received?Our @MichaelJLohan beautiful new son, Logan Michael !! Such a blessing! Happy 2015!!!!”

Michael Lohan and Kate Major married in Florida in October. A source had said at the time, “It was a beautiful, small ceremony and reception afterward. Kate and Michael purposely wanted it private as they await the arrival of their second child together.”

Michael Lohan, 54, is now a father of seven children. His children with ex-wife Dina Lohan are Lindsay Lohan, 28, Ali, 21, Michael Jr., 27, and Cody, 18. He also has a daughter Ashley with a massage therapist.

Major, a former Star reporter, has had past troubles with the law. Major pled guilty in 2013 to assaulting her neighbors in Boca Raton, Florida. She was sentenced to three years probation, including 100 hours of community service and anger management classes. Major also once tweeted that a knife-wielding Michael tried to break down her door.

Meanwhile Lindsay Lohan has claimed she doesn’t want much to do with her dad. In the docuseries she did for Oprah Winfrey’s OWN Network, Lindsay said her father was absent from her and her sibling’s lives.

She shared, “My dad has this whole other life with all these other people that he has created… and I do not want to be a part of that. They are not part of my life and they never will be.”
