It’s time to free the nipple! Scout Willis, Bruce Willis’ 22-year-old daughter, joined the #FreeTheNipple campaign this week with a couple of topless photos.
Scout posted the photo in support of Rihanna after the singer had a few topless photos removed from Instagram.
Scout titled one photo: “What Instagram won’t let you see.” She title a second photo “Legal in New York but not Instagram.” Both photos feature Scout Willis walking around New York topless.
We won’t show you the uncensored photos here (I guess we’re also guilty of censoring those pesky nipples) but you can see the nude photos on Scout’s Twitter account.

The argument behind the #FreeTheNipple campaign is pretty simple. Nipples are not obscene and women should not be ashamed of their bodies. One of the biggest arguments against sites like Instagram is that the nudity policy isn’t very clear. Some photos are allowed to stay up while others are removed. Who decides what is indecent?

You could also argue that it’s hypocritical to allow graphic violence on television but not breastfeeding.
Scout Willis, of course, isn’t the only celebrity to get behind the #FreeTheNipple movement. Rihanna, Frances Bean Cobain, Miley Cyrus, and Cara Delevingne have all spoken out against nipple censorship.
