Bobbi Kristina Brown Isn’t Married, Claims Bobby Brown

Bobby Brown, the father of Bobbi Kristina Brown, is now claiming that his daughter never actually married Nick Gordon.

Brown has been in a medically-induced coma and hooked up to a ventilator since Saturday. She was found unresponsive in her bathtub and Gordon performed CPR on her until paramedics arrived.

On Tuesday Bobbi’s attorney Christopher Brown released a statement which claims that Bobbi Kristina Brown and Nick Gordon are in fact married, and have been living as a married couple since January 2014.

After her mother passed away from eerily similar circumstances, Brown announced her engagement to her boyfriend. In January 2014 she sent the following tweet:

“@Nickgordon! #HappilyMarried. SO #Inlove. If you didn’t get it the first time that is.”

That same month Bobbi Kristina Brown’s family released their own statement confirming that she had wed Nick Gordon.

There is the possibility that Bobby Brown is attempting to secure his ex-wife’s estate. Bobbi Kristina Brown was left her mother’s entire fortune and all of her possessions, items that without a will would not be transferred to her husband in the event of her death.

Brown’s family said on Tuesday that she is still ‘fighting for her life.’ Doctors have said that the longer she is kept on a ventilator, the less likely her chances of a fully recovery become.

No further statements about Bobbi Kristina Brown’s marriage have been released at this time.
