Girl Meets World is continuing to add to the nostalgia factor for those who grew up in the 90s with more additions from the original Boy Meets World.

It is good news for anyone who watched the original show, and continues to look forward to seeing more familiar faces. The two latest names to be added to the second season of Girl Meets World are Trina McGee and Blake Clark, who were both tied to Shawn in the original series.

Both actors have been confirmed for guest spots on the show, although there is always the chance that they could return for more. In Boy Meets World, Trina McGee played Angela Moore, the girlfriend of Shawn Hunter, and Blake Clark played Shawn’s father, Chet Hunter.

When Girl Meets World returns with the guest stars in its second season, there will be plenty of nostalgia for fans of the 90s series. In addition to McGee and Clark, it was previously revealed that Will Friedle and William Daniels would be reprising their roles as Eric Matthews and Mr. Feeny.

In the upcoming season two episode with Blake Clark and Trina McGee, Rider Strong will also be returning as Shawn, and the episode is currently titled “Girl Meets Hurricane.” The episode will be directed by William Russ, who plays Cory’s father, Alan Matthews.

At the end of Boy Meets World, Shawn and Angela had gone their separate ways, but the couple dated on and off throughout the show. His father died of a heart attack during season six, although he continued to return as a guide to both Shawn and his brother Jack, and will appear the same way in Girl Meets World.

The current series stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel as Cory and Topanga, who are now married and parents to Auggie and Riley, struggling with similar problems that they did in the original series. Cory is Riley’s teacher, while Topanga has become a lawyer.

Girl Meets World continues to pile on the guest stars from Boy Meets World, and without the returning cast members, it may not have such a wide audience. The series airs on Disney on Friday nights.
