It’s no secret that big companies work hard to have a big presence on social media networks. Many of them hire teams of social media professionals to make sure that they are doing everything possible to communicate with their customers, keep consumers engaged, keep them coming back, and most importantly, buying their products or services. Some brands are more successful at this than others.


Recently, Statista put together an infographic that shows the 10 biggest brands on Facebook. They based the data on people talking about these brands on Facebook. It comes as no surprise that Coca-Cola is the most engaging brand on Facebook, followed by Avon, Walmart, and Disney. Still on the list but trailing Coke by nearly half are Visa and the NBA. So how can you and your business become an engaging brand on Facebook? Here’s a few tips on how to get more people looking at your page:



  • Change your cover photo often – Changing your photo often will get your page in people’s newsfeeds more often. You’ll also keep people checking in with your page to see what new photos you have posted.

  • Fill out all of the information on your page – make sure that you fill out any fields that are available. Put in your business hours, location, and any other relevant information. Your followers will keep coming to your page if visiting it is a way to find out important information about your company.

  • Share interesting and relevant links – anyone who has a blog, business site, or successful Facebook page understands the importance of linking. Adding links to your status updates can help to bring people to your page and your brand.

  • Ask questions – while this may seem obvious, some brands and companies still don’t do it. Ask your followers questions that are relevant to your company. Make sure that you follow up with responses to your followers’ responses.

  • Post photosaccording to this article on Business Insider, photos are 93% of the most engaging posts on Facebook. Posting a photo is a surefire way to get people to interact with you on your page. There are so many things you can post photos of – your day to day operations, special events, anything really.
