The „About us/me” page is not only one of the most visited pages on your mobile site, but also a place where you can picture your ambitions, plans and enthusiasm – they are the DNA of your business and the reasons why you are creating your mobile website. For me it sounds terrific, but for those of you who are still a little bit terrified I have assembled a helplist of questions you should consider answering on the „About us/me” mobile page.

Who are you?
Introduce yourself or your business. You may have special qualifications for running the type of the activity – share them with your visitors. If they feel confident about your company, you may have just gained a lead.
- Place a short video about your company. Show your team at their workplace, let them talk about their roles.
What do you do?
Present your offer indicating how you differ from competition.
- Rely on reasonable organization. If you are running a two- or three- pronged activity, use tabbed content presentation. If, however, your offer is wider, choose collapsible or accordion display.
Why are you doing what you are doing?
State how long you have been present on the market. Describe briefly the lifecycle of your company. Express your passion for your business, tell your story.
- Picture the section with a “the-making-of” type photo of you and your friend staring intensely at a laptop screen, an image of your first non-luxury headquarters, or a shot of your product’s first rough prototype.
How are you accomplishing what you claim to be doing?
Now it is time for you to boast a little. Tell about your previous experience and achievements and let the others speak for you, too!
- Present your best pieces of work in an image carousel.
- Insert a content carousel and let your readers swipe through your testimonials.
During the review stage try to leverage your answers assuming your visitors’ point of view. Remember that they have come to your “About us/me” page to learn about you and your business. Avoid providing useless information you feel sentimental about.
