Iggy Azalea reveals her TMZ diagnosis in a series of messages on Twitter. Not only that, but the “Fancy” singer has also talked about her plans to release her second album.
Azalea has taken to her official Twitter account to say that she was diagnosed with TMJ. For the unfamiliar, TMJ is as described as follows: Temporomandibular joint and muscle disorders (TMJ disorders) are problems or symptoms of the chewing muscles and joints that connect your lower jaw to your skull.
Iggy Azalea’s TMZ diagnosis won’t slow her down, despite the obvious pain that the disorder is said to cause within the sufferer’s jaw. On New Year’s Eve, the Australian rapper wished everyone a great New Year, revealed her diagnosis and talked of her second album.
She tweeted: “Hey guys!!! Hope everyone enjoys their NYE”.
With regard to her followup to 2014’s The New Classic, she said, “I’m back to work on my second album next week… Anxious to get going on it. The excited kind of anxious.”
Of Azalea’s TMJ diagnosis, the singer tweeted: “Also last month I was diagnosed with TMJ which isn’t the best. I’m gonna make more of an effort to take care of myself in 2015, stay away from all the drama & hopefully not have any flair ups.”
She added, “I don’t think western medicine all the way acknowledges what a huge toll mental stress takes on our bodies. But I do believe it is a factor. Anyhow I don’t think it will ever prevent me from doing anything I want to but it has made me realize it’s important to look after yourself. So that’s my little update and message! Look after your body and mind in the new year, be safe and enjoy it all! See u soon Las Vegas!!!”
Iggy Azalea’s TMJ diagnosis won’t stop her from making new music in order to appease her many hordes of fans. We still can’t wait to hear her collaboration with Britney Spears that is expected this year. What do you think she will call her second album? Hit the comments and leave your guesses below.
