Slow Computers and Health Loss [Infographic]

There’s no question that we waste a lot of time, as a society, waiting on slow computers. Adults in America waste an average of 16 minutes every day waiting eagerly for a slow computer to catch up. This may not initially seem like much—but it amounts to a sizable 4.1 lost days every year. When people already don’t have enough time to properly take care of themselves, this is really precious time that’s being wasted. In a survey, half were aware of their lack of exercise, but they don’t have enough time to do it. Nearly two in five would like to plan meals and/or cook more. In answering how they would spend an extra hour of free time per week, 31 percent said they would increase physical activity.

Waiting for slow computers is incredibly frustrating and exhausting, and it simply wastes too much time. Some 37 percent of people feel more drained after waiting on a slow computer than they would after a hard workout.

Do you feel rather frustrated by a slow computer? Does it feel more tiring than a tough workout? Please share in the comments, and be sure to check out the infographic below!
