The power of a popular blog has become known to us all, and that is why many bloggers want to increase their traffic. If a blog got hundreds of visitors a day, the potential revenue is incredible. Most bloggers look at all of the common ways to increase blog traffic. Some of the common methods are to blog consistently, have a SEO friendly blog, use keywords, and so on.
One way that I increase traffic to my blog is by looking at past statistics. When I look at past statistics, I am able to see which of my blog posts were the most popular. I look at the number of times the blog post got shared and the amount of people who visited my blog when I published that post.
The two blog posts that generated the most traffic to my blog were 11 Ways To Get More Followers On Pinterest and 10 Motivational Quotes To Brighten Your Day. They were also pinned and repinned plenty of times.
I decided to include a free video about mastering Pinterest for anyone who subscribed to my blog. When I offered that video for free, my number of subscribers went up. When I write blog posts about Pinterest and motivational quotes, the number of visitors on my blog goes up as well.
Your content will ultimately decide how many visitors you get. If you write content that your visitors want to read, you will get more traffic to your blog which will result in more subscribers and sales. The best way to write content that your visitors will want to read is by seeing which of your blog posts are getting visited the most.
My two popular blog posts still receive a majority of my blog’s traffic even though those blog posts were published weeks ago. If you are looking for a way to increase your traffic, find out what has already increased your traffic.
