Sarah Clarke To Possibly Become Series Regular As FBI Agent On NCIS

Sarah Clarke knows a thing about playing an agent having been one on 24. Hopefully, this time she will not turn out to be a spy. NCIS has annoucned that Clarke will guest-star in the final two episodes of the season. However, her fans should know there is an option for Clarke to become a series regular next season.

Clarke will play Tess Monroe, an FBI Special Agent who recently transferred to D.C. from New York City. Quick-witted, tough, and shrewd, Tess is a multiple divorcée who’s as sexy as she is strong, Tess has no kids, so she views her fellow agents as family. Beneath a no-nonsense shell, Tess has a big heart and believes in honor, justice, and doing what’s right — and she’ll fight to protect those values, and her team, with fierce determination and a tinge of sarcasm along the way, according to EW.

“We feel so fortunate to have Sarah Clarke joining us to play Tess,” says executive producer Gary Glasberg. “I’ve been a fan of her’s going back to 24 and more recently Bosch. She’s a gifted actress, a total pro, and we can’t wait to introduce her to our NCIS family and have some fun.”

NCIS is hoping to pump some new blood into the show. Currently, the show is bidding farewell to longtime regular Michael Weatherly in May, who is starring in a pilot for a potential new CBS series as a young version of Dr. Phil McGraw, so Clarke’s potential addition could effectively serve as a replacement Weatherly’s Anthony DiNozzo.
