2013 NFL Week 9 Power Rankings

1. Kansas City Chiefs (8-0) – The lone undefeated team sits comfortably at number-one. Let’s see how the unit’s resilient defense fairs against the Denver Broncos.


2. Indianapolis Colts (5-2) - The Colts are emerging as one of the better teams in the AFC. It will be interesting to watch Andrew Luck work without his security blanket, Reggie Wayne.


3. Seattle Seahawks (7-1) – The team won ugly against the St. Louis Rams, as the offense struggled for the majority of the game. Even still, the defense looks as impressive as ever.


4. Denver Broncos (7-1) – It looked as if the Broncos were in trouble against the Washington Redskins. The team did eventually pull through and put up another game with over 40-points.


5. San Francisco 49ers (6-2) – The 49ers won big in London, as the team put a beating on the Jacksonville Jaguars.


6. New Orleans Saints (6-1) - Jimmy Graham made a huge impact in the team’s victory. Aside from the Seahawks, the Saints are the team to beat in the NFC.


7. Green Bay Packers (5-2) – The win-streak continues, as Aaron Rodgers and Jordy Nelson continue to build dangerous chemistry.


8. New England Patriots (6-2) – Despite being down, the Pats came back beat its division rivals. The New England defense is also currently ranked fifth in the NFL.


9. Detroit Lions (5-3) – In a late win, the Lions proved to be the most impressive out of all the other week’s games. Calvin Johnson also may require quadruple coverage.


10. Cincinnati Bengals (6-2) – Andy Dalton threw five-touchdown passes in the team’s dominating win over the New York Jets.


11. San Diego Chargers (4-3) – The team will look to build off its momentum, as the team stays competitive in the surprisingly tough AFC West.


12. Carolina Panthers (4-3) – The Panthers current three-game win streak has the team playing inspired. Even though the three teams they have beaten have a combined record of 4-18.


13. Arizona Cardinals (4-4) – A bright spot came on offense in the form of Andre Ellington.


14. Chicago Bears (4-3) – Let’s see how the Bears come out of its BYE with the injuries sustained from its last outing.


15. Baltimore Ravens (3-4) – The defending Super Bowl Champions come out of its BYE with its back against the wall, fighting an uphill battle in the AFC North.


16. Dallas Cowboys (4-4) – The NFC East Division leaders lost a tough one against the Detroit Lions.


17. New York Jets (4-4) – The Jets were embarrassed by the hand of Andy Dalton and the Cincinnati Bengals.


18. Buffalo Bills (3-5) – The team will have a challenge ahead as they play the New Orleans Saints.


19. Oakland Raiders (3-4) – Terrelle Pryor set a record with his touchdown run of over 90-yards in the team’s win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.


20. Miami Dolphins (3-4) - The team blew a big lead against the New England Patriots that ultimately cost them the game.


21. Cleveland Browns 3-5) – The Browns almost upset the undefeated Kansas City Chiefs. The keyword here is almost.


22. Tennessee Titans (3-4) – The Titans look to right the ship coming out of its BYE.


23. New York Giants (2-6) – The Giants put up another dismal performance, but are currently on a two-game win streak.


24. Philadelphia Eagles (3-5) – The illustrious offense that was supposed to be in play haven’t mustered a single touchdown in two-games.


25. Pittsburgh Steelers (2-5) – The win streak came to a halt against the Oakland Raiders.


26. Washington Redskins (2-5) – The Washington defense allowed 31-points in one-quarter.


27. Atlanta Falcons (2-5) – What in the Sam Hill happened to this team? Matt Ryan led the team with 13-yards rushing. He ‘led’ the team.


28. St. Louis Rams (3-5) – The Rams kept it surprisingly close against its division rival Seattle Seahawks, despite not scoring a single touchdown.


29. Houston Texans (2-5) – Matt Schaub has officially been sat down to make room for Case Keenum. Let’s see if this move helps.


30. Minnesota Vikings (1-6) – Quarterbacks are interchangeable for this team, as head coaches may be too.


31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-7) – There’s too much wrong with this team to be corrected in one year. It all starts with the head coach.


32. Jacksonville Jaguars (0-7) - This team proved to be equally terrible in England as they are in the U.S.
