Paul Walker Dies in Fiery Crash

Paul Walker Dies in Fiery Crash image 514px Paul Walker 257x300On Saturday, November 30, actor Paul Walker died in a fiery car crash in Santa Clarita, California. Paul Walker was in the passenger seat and a racing team partner, who has now been revealed as being Roger Rodas, was driving, lost control of the vehicle and ran into a light pole and exploded. A speed limit sign attached to the pole then fell onto the Porsche. Both Rodas and Walker died in the crash that occurred around 3:30pm PT.


Both Rodas and Walker had attended an event for Paul Walker’s charity, Reach Out Worldwide, earlier that afternoon. They had planned to help victims and survivors of the typhoon that occurred in the Philippines by having the Charity Toy Drive & Automatic Social Gathering. Unfortunately, before the event was over, there was a tragic accident which ended in Paul Walker’s death at only 40.


Paul Walker has been in a lot of well-known films and has had a lot of box-office success. One of his most well-known roles was as Brian O’Conner in “The Fast and the Furious.” The first film came out in 2001, but since then the franchise has taken off and there have been six films released. Walker was working on the seventh film, “Fast Seven.”


When the crash occurred fans and media watched in horror. When Walker’s publicist confirmed his death, fans were devastated. He was loved for his work on and off the screen. He was a great actor and was really involved with charity. Fans took to Twitter, Facebook, and other social media and expressed their reactions. Other actors and actresses, some who had worked with him and others who hadn’t, also expressed their condolences. Some included Will Smith, Jack Osbourne, DMX, and many others.


Paul Walker will be sorely missed and left behind his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
