The New Parent’s Guide to Mobile Photography [Infographic]

There’s more to a picture than just clicking the shutter button. Taking lighting and background into consideration, all while maintaining a steady hand isn’t always easy. Sunset and sunrise are optimal camera phone lighting conditions, as they can capture great colors and textures. Avoid direct sunlight if you can, and opt for overcast lighting to make subjects appear happier and more attractive. Distracting backgrounds can take away the “point” of a photograph. When the background is cluttered, simply move closer toward your subject to focus the camera off the extra details and bring your baby into clearer view.
