The Rise of Mobile Advertising in China

According to latest infographic released by GO Globe, mobile advertising in China comprises 10% of total digital ad revenue and 3.5% of total ad revenue. The mobile advertising market in China is estimated to grow from 12,563 RMB Million to 25,750 RMB Million by 2017.


76% of mobile advertisers surveyed target their audience by Interest followed by – By online purchase history (50%) and By current location (40%) . Video is most popular mobile advertising format used by 36% of advertisers followed by Mobile coupons (33%) , Banner(9%) and In-app Ads(8%)


78% of chinese smartphone users are more likely to click a mobile ad as compared to 33% of smartphone users in UK and 29% in USA. Only 7% of chinese smartphone users do not prefer to target by mobile ads as compared to 52% in UK and 56% in USA. Check out infographic below for detailed facts and statistics.
