Earlier this year the scientists at Durex conducted a survey to find out how many people used Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram during sex. You can read about here and yes, it’s more than you think. So it isn’t too surprising to find out that #AfterSex selfies are on the rise.
Now, some of these selfies are, you know, sexy. They show two people in love lying in eachother’s warm embrace.
Others, however, were, well, much less sexy.
#AfterSex selfies now include everything from masturbation…
… drug jokes …
… to whatever the hell this is.
The #AfterSex trend started as a way for couples to publicly show off their most intimate moments …
… but it’s devolved into a mix of disturbing memes, bad jokes, and forever alone rage.
But should we have expected anything else from the #AfterSex trend? The internet has an uncanny ability of using a dead horse to beat something simple into something disturbing. That’s what happened here. This trend is only a few days old and it’s already a mess of bizarre memes.
So put the camera away. There’s no reason to take pictures #AfterSex.
