How Do You Get YOUR News? [Infographic]

From smartphones, to tablets, to laptops, the average adult uses on average four different types of devices to access news in a given week. Back in 2012, digital-only news circulation grew by 275%, ushering in a new era of news. At the same time, however, digital and print bundle subscriptions jumped up by 499%; looks like people still like a good old fashioned newspaper.


But whether or not the newspaper is here to stay, the growth of online news content can’t be ignored. It all started in 2006 when The New York Times launched its mobile website. Reader flocked to it on their smartphones and made accessing news on the go even easier with their smartphones. Now, The New York Times launched NYT Now, a curated premium mobile app targeted at mobile-first users.
