Don’t let anyone tell you that Kim Kardashian’s popularity is shrinking. The reality star’s wedding photo with Kanye West just set a new Instagram record for most likes.
Kim Kardashiana’s wedding photo has racked up close to 2 million likes on Instagram. At the moment, the photo has 1.98 million likes. Another photo from the wedding has 1.6 million likes.
That’s pretty impressive. It’s not Levar Burton raises more than $2 million in 24 hours impressive but it’s still pretty incredible.
The previous record was held by another star-studded couple. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez earned 1.82 million likes after they posted a photo of themselves hugging. (This was during their break up / back together / break up phase. So it was kind of a big deal.)
The ratings for Keeping Up With The Kardashians have been dropping recently but that doesn’t mean that the public has lost interest in Kim and her sisters. They would just rather take the Kardashians in Instagram size doses.
Of course, the wedding may be the start of a resurgence for the reality star family. E! will be documenting the “road to the wedding” on the next season of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. The new season premieres on June 8.
