NBA fans love to debate about the greatest players of all-time. Most end up on the side of Michael Jordan thanks to his six NBA championships, five MVPs and 10 scoring titles. But let me ask you something? Does his Airness have a WWE championship belt?
No? Well LeBron James does. In fact, every member of the Miami Heat now has a WWE championship belt.
The Ball Don’t Lie reports that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson gave LeBron an authentic WWE championship belt last month. The King must have felt a little awkward sporting his hardware in the Heat locker room because today he sent out a picture of all of his teammates with the famous wrestling belt.
LeBron writes: “Always wanted to be the WWE Heavyweight World Champion so today I surprised my teammates with their own for their collection.”
LeBron hasn’t matched Michael Jordan’s ring count just yet. He hasn’t managed to surpass MJ’s MVP count (he’s getting close). But does that any of that matter.
The next time you’re talking about the greatest NBA players of all-time make sure to take WWE championship belts into account. By that standard, you just can’t beat LeBron and the Miami Heat.
