Nicole Kidman can’t say enough good things about her country singing husband Keith Urban. The “American Idol” judge was there for her through the tough time of losing her father and she has also revealed that he has quite the romantic side.
The actress lost her father last month and has revealed that Urban’s undying support has left her feeling lucky. She opened up to daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres about how she dealt with the grief of losing her father and how Urban has helped. She said, “He has been so good to me for nine years, but for the last month, which has been a really tough time for me, he’s been amazing.”
She continued, “To have my husband just step up that way…it makes me cry. We all go through hard times in our lives, but to be literally carried by your partner, and physically, at times, because I was so devastated. I’ll do anything for that man.”
She said, “I’ve realized we don’t talk about it enough in terms of our society. Because at some point in our lives…everybody loses their parents and it’s awful.”
Nicole Kidman also opened up about her husband’s romantic side and what they do for each other that boasts an old world romanticism. She revealed that when they are apart from one another, they write each other love letters.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban have been married since June 25, 2006 and share two biological children together, daughters Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise of which they share two adopted children Connor and Isabella Cruise.
Kidman and Urban share a special bond and it is obvious that she has nothing but love for him. Losing a parent is one of the hardest things anyone could possibly go through, but with his support, she is coping.
