David Beckham Involved In Car Accident With Son Brooklyn

David Beckham’s car accident didn’t claim any lives today, but the soccer stud and his son Brooklyn Beckham survived the crash following a soccer game. Brooklyn was training at Arsenal and when his famous father came to pick him up, an opposing soccer team member witnessed them crashing their car.

Beckham’s accident went down on Saturday night in England following the younger Beckham’s soccer practice, reports The Telegraph. The father and son duo escaped injury as a result of the car accident, but were left badly shaken on Saturday. In fact, we’ve learned that the only injury that was suffered was due to the deployment of the car’s airbags.

David Beckham’s car accident happened outside of Arsenal’s training ground in Hertfordshire. A source close to the soccer star said, “They were shaken. It was quite a heavy prang at quite a speed but everybody walked away uninjured. Everybody’s fine. Thankfully the car’s airbags deployed.”

Brooklyn Beckham had just played a match against Brighton’s under 16 group and a player, Thomas Cadman, said on Twitter, “Weird to play against Brooklyn Beckham earlier. Even weirder to be currently stuck behind David Beckham as he has crashed his car.”

So far, there has been no official word as to the condition of the other driver, but we’re guessing that it would have been a bigger part of the story had anyone suffered any serious injury as a result of the car crash. TMZ reports that the other driver was not injured in the accident, but that has yet to be confirmed.

This isn’t the first time that David Beckham and his son Brooklyn were involved in a minor car accident. In October 2013, Us Magazine reports that the duo wrecked their black Range Rover when pulling out of the driveway of their Beverly Hills home.

Of David Beckham’s car accident, teammate Archie Davies said, “Just seen David Beckham looks like he got in a car crash and hurt his shoulder. Star struck by seeing David Beckham tbh.”
