Freddie Prinze Jr. Recovering Following Spinal Surgery; Is Re-learning To Walk

Freddie Prinze, Jr’s spinal surgery may have knocked him out of the game for a short while, but the actor isn’t letting it get him down. The actor had surgery, but is downplaying the effects on Twitter. Reportedly, he is re-learning to walk following the surgery, despite his claims on the social networking service that everything is okay.

On November 20th, Prinze, Jr. shared the news of his impending surgery on Twitter. He said, “Samurai, Jedi, Gamers if all agesI gots nuthin but love for you. Spine surgery this morning but now ur homie is … Robo-Bro! Bionic pic inc”.

Between saving Thedas using the Inquisition in the new Dragon Age game, he has admitted to taking some time in order to learn how to walk again. On November 26th, he shared, “#KeepItPlayful Learnin to walk again is like learning jiu-jitsu – 1 technique at a time”.

Freddie Prinze Jr.’s spinal surgery has since made headlines and the actor is taking it all in stride. Since the news went public, fans have been rushing to check on him to make sure he’s just fine. To his 29,000+ followers on Twitter, he said, “Guys Im totally fine. Recovering great. No need to get ur info from entertainment ‘news’ sources who have no clue. Trust your homie.”

For those that didn’t believe he’s okay, he added, “Private medical info amigos. Lets say i had some disc issues that have been resolved. ‘Nuff said friends. Talk lata peeps. Thanks for the words. Im all good!.”

Freddie Prinze Jr. had spinal surgery and is on the road to recovery at quite the fast pace. Good for him for bouncing back from such a scary surgery. We hope that Sarah Michelle Gellar has been taking good care of him while he gets better. She has yet to comment on her husband’s health issues, but it seems that the physical therapy is certainly doing the trick! Never give up, we’re rooting for you Freddie!
