Could Sony Be Planning on a “Last of Us” Movie?

Zombies are trending right now and have been for quite a while. There are zombie-related games popping up all the time and the same goes for movies.

So, with the popularity of zombies, why shouldn’t there be a movie adaptation for “The Last of Us?” The Last of Us is known for being one of the most cinematic games for the Playstation 3 and it’s also known as being one of the best games for the Playstation 3.

So, why do I think there could be a Last of Us movie possibly coming out?

Well, TheLastofUsMovie.com and TheLastofUs-Movie.com have been registered by MarkMonitor, which is a brand protection agency and they’ve registered the domain names under Sony Pictures’ address.

This is interesting news, because what’s considered one of the greatest zombie games of all time could have a movie adaptation. So, this could mean that Sony is actively working on a Last of Us movie or they could be snatching these domains up in case they ever do decide to make a Last of Us movie in the future.

Last of Us is one of the biggest sellers for the Playstation 3, so a movie adaptation of the game certainly wouldn’t be a big surprise. Also, the game has received nothing but love and positive reviews from fans and critics.

If you haven’t picked up the game yet, you’ll be happy to know that a DLC is on the way, which means that there will most likely be a Last of Us – Game of the Year edition coming out.
