Lavigne’s rehab rumors began to gain steam because she refused to comment on the reports of her hidden illness, except to say thanks to her many hordes of fans for their well wishes. Now, the Canadian singer has taken to her official Twitter account to blast the rumors that she is seeking treatment in a rehab facility.
On December 23rd, she tweeted: “The rehab RUMORS are hilarious! The only thing I’m addicted to right now is Bing Crosby. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE! and to all a goodnight!”

The entire situation was made completely worse by the fan releasing their private conversation – and it’s one of the reasons why she doesn’t comment publicly on her personal issues.
