Susan Boyle’s First Boyfriend Is An American Doctor

Susan Boyle’s first boyfriend is an American doctor, according to the singer. Boyle reached the age of 53-years-old without a boyfriend, but has decided to begin dating. Good for her!

The Scottish singer rose to fame as a result of her audition in front of Simon Cowell for Britain’s Got Talent in April 2009. She sang “I Dreamed A Dream” from Les Misérables and the world fell in love with her songbird voice. She famously commented at the time that she’d never even been kissed.

She can scratch kissing and dating off of her bucket list now as she has since done both. Prior to stardom on such a mass scale, Boyle dedicated her life to taking care of her ailing mother. After her rise to fame, she’d spoken out on the topic of using online dating in order to find a boyfriend. In November 2012, she said, “Knowing my luck I’d go out on a date and you’d find my limbs scattered around various Blackburn dustbins!”

Boyle’s first boyfriend is a man of whom she met during her six-week U.S. tour at a luxury hotel in Florida. She wouldn’t reveal too much about the man in her life except to say that he is from Connecticut and was a “perfect gentleman” on their date.

She revealed, “It’s early days but we enjoy each other’s company. We just got talking in the hotel and I thought he seemed friendly enough. He wasn’t a fan but he knew who I was. He invited me out for lunch the next day, we had a nice chat and spoke about lots of things including our careers. He was the perfect gentleman and even paid the bill. Afterwards we exchanged details. When we said goodbye he gave me a peck of the cheek.”

She continued, “It’s very early days so we’ll see what happens. I hope he comes over. I don’t want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him. All I’ll say is we are around the same age and he was a very nice guy.”

As far as the kiss is concerned, Boyle scratched that off of her list during the making of her 2013 movie “The Christmas Candle”. Of that, she said, “I didn’t know about the kissing scene when I signed up, but I wasn’t complaining.”

Susan Boyle’s first boyfriend sounds like he’s got the singer smitten. Good for her. We can’t wait to hear more details about the man who has captured the heart of the lady who has captured all of ours.
